Your pregnancy at a glance

A timeline lists weeks; a calendar shows how they fall on real dates. Enter your due date (or the first day of your last period) and this calculator draws every month of your pregnancy as a calendar. Each day is coloured by trimester, the first day of every pregnancy week is labelled (W4, W5…), and your due date and today are highlighted. Hover over or tap a day to see exactly how far along you are on it.

Because pregnancy weeks start on the weekday your last period began, they won’t line up with calendar weeks — the W labels show where each one begins.

Ways to use it

  • Print it and mark appointments, scans and classes.
  • Share it with a partner or family so everyone knows the key dates.
  • Plan work, travel and leave around trimesters — see also the Prenatal Calculator for typical test windows.

Frequently asked questions

How many months is a pregnancy calendar?

About ten calendar months from the first day of the last period to a little after the due date, because 40 weeks is slightly more than nine months.

Why does my calendar start before I was pregnant?

Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, about two weeks before conception, so the calendar starts there.

What does “W12” mean on the calendar?

It marks the first day of 12 completed weeks — the day you become 12 weeks pregnant.
